Morning Pages
Released June, 2004

"Morning Pages" is a coming of age project for Kim Fontaine. Her career has shifted from serving as a back-up musician and co-writer in a number of bands. Her earned wisdom and experience over the years has now yielded an album that has brought her out of the comfort of the shadows and into the spotlight. Kim Fontaine has come into her own by revealing her talents as a vocalist, guitarist and songwriter. Her voice is unique, rich and hauntingly beautiful. This primarily acoustic album is dynamic and features melodies that are catchy and comforting. Empathy, dependence, healing, confidence, Fontaine is willing to dig down deep. The result is an honest, intimate, emotional ride that anyone who's been there can relate to.
