Joint CD release concert for Kim's "Life Happens" and Jay's "Redberry". David J Taylor opened the night. The lineup included: Jay Semko (vocals, bass, guitar); Kim Fontaine (vocals, bass, guitar); David J Taylor (vocals, guitar, piano); Blair Finley (guitars); Lou Fontaine (drums); Warren Rutherford (pedal steel) and Ross Nykiforuk (accordian).

University of Saskatchewan USCAD Songwriting 2 course.
May and June, 2006, some of the students went on to a level 2 songwriting class. It was a smaller, more intimate class and I was amazed by the quality of songs that they came up with (they're still spinning in my head). Most photos were taken by Sueli DeFreitas |
